Our Approach
We're using private sector strategies for providing healthcare at the base of the economic pyramid. We identify potential franchisees (community health nurses), grant them an exclusive territory, and fund them to open a clinic to offer basic health services under strict regulations designed to ensure efficient business practices and good clinical standards. Each franchisee is provided training, start up inventory, operations standards, guidance, marketing, support and on-site consultancy.
Our Process
The heart of our social franchise model is the operating system. This consists of manuals that include the standards, policies, procedures, forms, instructions, diagnostic guidelines, treatment guidelines, drug procurement and handling practices, franchise regulations, and customer service.
Our Logo
The organization's logo is derived from a Ghanaian symbol BOA ME NA ME MBOA WO which means "Interdependence. In unity lies our strength."....... a reminder that it's an interdependent world with a common resource. |
